Introduction to Enterprise Java: Connect to databases, use XML from Java, create client / server applications and learn how to use Java on your web server.

Course contents

This course is designed for those who want to follow on from the Java for beginners course and who wish to start dive deeper into the Java language and learn how to use Java's most important enterprise features.

J2EE for beginners covers the following topics:

• What is Enterprise Java: From J2SE to J2EE
• Servlets and JSP's: Running Java on your web server
• RMI: Create client/ server applications
• JDBC: How to access databases from Java
• JAXP: Read and write XML files and create web services with Axis
• Other J2EE components: Hibernat, Spring, EJB's, JNDI, JMS, JTA, JCA
